Merry Christmas!

I am grabbing some time to post a short note and some beautiful pictures from a follower.

My computer is giving me problems and it looks like I will be needing a new one.  So, for some shameless advertising I will be upholstering some furniture and selling it on Etsy.  I'm dealing with a cold and the holiday so it will probably be sometime in January when I will have some pieces ready.

Now for the beautiful pictures from Erica:

Right now, the way I'm feeling this was the best Christmas present I could have gotten, for sure!!!!

Thank you all for reading my blog!!!

  12. Merry Christmas Kris! I am so sorry to hear that you're dealing with a cold, especially tough this time of year with so many holiday responsibilities! Hope you find time to rest and take good care of yourself!
My old PC finally died last year, and it always happens at the most inconvenient time. The excitement of an upgrade is also tempered by the frustration of getting everything set up on the new one. Sending prayers for an easy time of it, and for a sudden windfall to help out with the expense!
Your creativity in making things from things always tickles me, and trains me to think beyond my nose. Because of the tutorials on your blog, I have lost my fear of failure, and try just about any idea that springs in my mind. I want to sincerely thank you for that, and for your enthusiasm for sharing all your knowledge with the community. It truly is a treasure and has has meant so much to me. Now if only I could find the time to try everything I have bookmarked!
Thank you so much for your incredible body of work and contributions to our beloved hobby. Your kindness and generosity will ripple through time evermore!
    Happy New Year, too!

  13. Hi Kris! I am sorry that you are under the weather, under the gun of holiday deadlines as well as needing a new computer- I know that feeling!
I want to wish you a speedy solution to all of the above and add this that I ( like Jodi) have found inspiration from your blog and a sense of fearlessness when it comes to taking a chance and trying. And so for the quality of your work, your generosity in sharing and for the continuing encouragement for other miniaturists to take a chance and have a go- THANK YOU! :D
I wish you a Merry Christmas Kris, and a CREATIVE New Year!

  18. Hi Chris. My Christmas wish is that you be well and enjoy your
holiday with family. And all your Christmas wishes be granted.
As with other comments here, I appreciate your generosity and talent in bring to other crafters all your wonderful creativity. I have a large white birdcage which I would like to make into a
miniature conservatory similar to the project you show here. I have made miniature plants. Maybe I'll try miniature wicker.
Best Wishes for the New Year.
