David sent me a picture of his wife's French Country Wing Chair, finished from one of my kits.

She did a beautiful job on it and I wanted to show it off.  The choice of fabric is very nice with the white legs.  Her piping was done with great care and looks wonderful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to send me a picture of the finished kit.  I appreciate seeing the finished pieces.

On the e-mail not working, I received a comment about it and that got me to looking into things.  Yes, Google stuff isn't supported anymore.  I have put a new gadget on the top right side of the blog.  The gadget is to subscribe to a service that lets you know when I've published.  Let's try that for now.

  1. Hi Kris! I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for still going strong and inspiring myself and countless others in making miniatures. I've learned skills that I didn't know I could learn and shared them with others, been able to give some pretty impressive gifts that I made myself when I couldn't afford to buy things, and your blog helped me rediscover my childhood passion for dollhouses. I now realize that it's an adult passion and has been for ages! You also gave my very-different-from-me, prim and proper mother and I something to connect over and that has changed my life. Sorry to go on in a comments section like this, but I wanted you and everyone who happens through here that you do so much more than teach us to make minis. In your way, by following your passion, you've changed my life for the better, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one;) Happy Monday, good luck with the email, and thank you. Forever Loyal, Sparrow:)

  2. This is fantastic! I plan to tackle this soon so I will be referring to it again!
